This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• In the role of Project Manager at RaceRocks, you will be entrusted to oversee all aspects of project management from the development phase, starting from kickoff to release, for one or more projects, with occasional supervision of your work.
• You will be responsible for reporting on the established project metric goals for the assigned projects.
• Collaborating with the team, you will ensure that the developed software features and functionalities align with business and client objectives.
• You will coordinate resources across the organization to guarantee the successful completion of software products in conjunction with other project resource requirements.
• Working closely with the Project Learning Design team, you will ensure that estimates, planning, and execution remain on schedule.
• You will communicate project details and updates to the Director of Delivery.
• Your responsibilities will include reviewing and evaluating project documents, artifacts, and proposals, offering planning and risk guidance.
• You will ensure that the RaceRocks team achieves milestones and receives all essential technical information.
• Establishing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with both internal and external creative resources as well as all relevant stakeholders will be crucial.
• You will monitor the implementation and operations of requirements and contracts against established goals, objectives, and milestones.
• Providing administrative and technical support to the Project Management Team will include creating or updating supporting documentation.
• You will review internal processes and seek continual opportunities for improvement.
• Contributing to team process enhancements on an ongoing basis will be an essential part of your role.
• Leading and participating in meetings with project management professionals and other stakeholders (both internal and external) will ensure that projects are on track.
• You will ensure that project goals are being met and expected results are achieved while offering planning, risk guidance, scope management, resource support, and communication.
• You will guarantee that the RaceRocks team receives all necessary technical information while fostering relationships with internal and external creative resources and all relevant stakeholders.
• Tracking project and contract activities, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and financial commitments will be part of ensuring that commitments are fulfilled.
• Supporting clients and internal teams in establishing, documenting, and addressing their project management needs will include project planning and initiation activities, proposal creation, project documentation, requirements, and resource gathering.
• You will identify gaps or issues in project processes as they arise during execution and address them in team meetings for collaborative solutions.
• Engaging in budget tracking and financial reporting will help you understand the financial health of projects.
• You will prepare reports as assigned, including but not limited to project status reports, results achieved reports, lesson learned documentation, and recommendations for improvement.
• You will operate within the framework of generally defined procedures, expected to employ autonomous and sound judgment when faced with challenges.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, encompassing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with e-learning content development and immersive technologies (VR, AR) workflows is essential for effective planning.
• Experience in e-learning, distributed, and technology-enabled learning environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities are required.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not a requirement.
• A University degree (in any field) or a College Diploma (in any field) or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager is required, including at least 2 years managing training projects.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing eLearning and/or software projects, including at least 1 year of experience in managing eLearning projects, is necessary.
