Intermediate Full-Stack Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, and provide support for web software applications and internal tools.

• Evaluate requirements and identify or adjust the most effective solutions.

• Proactively identify and resolve areas of technical concern.

• Guide colleagues and participate in code review processes.

• Work collaboratively with various teams to enhance processes.

• Advocate for design patterns and best practices.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies to help with prioritization, comprehension, and estimation.

• Foster the advancement of Agile practices through retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or diploma from an accredited institution.

• At least 4 years of experience in a professional software development capacity.

• Proven experience in mentoring co-op students, junior developers, and peers.

• Proficient in working within an Agile product development framework.

• Skilled in developing relational database solutions.

• Competence in SQL authoring and optimization.

• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Ability to communicate technical details clearly and formulate functional requirements.

• Experience with source control software.

• Capable of prioritizing and delivering solutions that meet requirements.

• Experience in writing and enhancing existing code efficiencies for large datasets and high volumes.

• Familiarity with Ruby and Ruby on Rails is highly desired.

• Experience with Salesforce integration.

• Exposure to AWS tools and services.

• AI experience is a bonus but not mandatory.

• Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish, or German is strongly preferred.
