Intermediate Business Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Prepare opportunity briefs and business cases.

• Analyze and document both current and target business needs and processes.

• Define business requirements alongside proposed solutions.

• Develop solution scenarios, assess impacts, and recommend a preferred option.

• Engage in outlining the business architecture (target vision).

• Produce various deliverables, including:

• - Business processes and models.

• - Use cases, personas, and user stories.

• - Executive summaries and analytical deliverables.

• - Estimates regarding costs, effort, and timelines.

• Participate in knowledge transfer initiatives.

• Ensure the quality of deliverables and their alignment with expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in IT or business administration.

• A minimum of 4 years working as a business architect or intermediate advisor.

• Proven experience in:

• - Opportunity briefs and business cases.

• - Requirements analysis and modeling.

• - Large-scale projects (≥ 500 person-days).

• Experience in a Quebec government environment (significant asset; often required in practice).

• Familiarity with frameworks such as BABOK, digital transformation, and project management.

• Capability to deliver in fixed-price engagements (manage effort in relation to deliverables).

• Excellent communication skills in French.

• Strong autonomy, rigor, and analytical abilities.
