This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.
• Offers temporary administrative and leadership assistance.
• Oversees and allocates resources to general administrative functions, informed by prior experience, organizational objectives, and operational strategies.
• Accountable for the management of cyclical projects.
• Engages in complex administrative issues where the analysis of problems, data, and processes necessitates advanced specialized knowledge and extensive industry and technical expertise.
• Provides administrative leadership and specialized knowledge in nursing.
• Develops and monitors relevant indicators for quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Manages operations, including nursing, human resources, budgeting and finance, strategic planning, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Conducts interviews, hires, provides counsel, administers discipline, and, when necessary, terminates employees.
• Implements the mission, vision, plans, and standards of the organization.
• Responsible for overseeing the clinical nursing practice environment.
• Contributes to the strategic planning process, daily operations, and achievement of organizational objectives.
• Supervises staff who must follow age-appropriate resident/patient care protocols addressing the physical and psychological needs of residents.
• A bachelor’s degree in health care administration or a related field is required.
• A minimum of two years’ experience as a long-term care administrator is required.
• An active Nursing Home Administrator's (NHA) license in the applicable state of employment through the National Association of Long Term Care Administrators Boards (NAB) is necessary.
• A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is also beneficial.
• Additional licenses as required by state laws and facility needs.
