This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in a diverse range of data collection initiatives utilizing various source types and collection methodologies.
• Develop and sustain automated data collection pipelines by utilizing APIs and web scraping techniques from both open and closed sources.
• Set up and oversee collection tools to guarantee dependable and efficient data gathering.
• Perform and assess open-source research and exploratory data analysis on multiple cybersecurity subjects to support CrowdStrike clients.
• Currently pursuing a 4-year University degree with at least 1-2 years of academic study remaining after the internship.
• Working towards a BA or BS / MA or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, International Relations, Math, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Anticipated graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Python, or skilled in analytical languages like SQL or R.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted coding tools and a commitment to effectively utilize them for enhanced value and expedited delivery.
• Functional or professional fluency in one or more of the following languages: Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese preferred), Korean (strongly preferred), Spanish (strongly preferred), Arabic, or Farsi.
• A strong desire to learn through hands-on experiences and collaborative projects relevant to your internship field.
• A keen interest in deriving insights from unstructured and ambiguous datasets.
