This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct thorough investigations and attribute activities within the crypto-services ecosystem, linking on-chain actions to real-world entities.
• Take the initiative to identify noteworthy investigative opportunities and the automation processes that can be developed.
• Create and refine AI workflows that enhance your analytical capabilities, including managing edge cases that automation may not address.
• Lead the efforts in data collection and research to ensure our attribution remains both comprehensive and up-to-date.
• Maintain a high standard for accuracy, analytical precision, and thorough documentation.
• Achieve certification as a cryptocurrency professional through all Chainalysis certifications.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in analytical or investigative roles (such as intelligence, law enforcement, cyber security, fraud prevention, compliance, or research).
• Strong instincts for research and a commitment to analytical rigor.
• Proactive mindset — you recognize what requires investigation and pursue it without needing direction.
• Flexibility — comfortable navigating ambiguity and excited by a rapidly evolving environment; both the threats and technologies, as well as our tools, are constantly changing.
• Genuine passion for AI — you aspire to create with it rather than merely utilize it.
• Familiarity with data and a keen interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
