Integrations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and take ownership of intricate integration systems.

• Analyze complex, undocumented systems to establish a clear mental framework.

• Act proactively in resolving issues.

• Manage production responsibilities by creating runbooks and monitoring incident follow-ups.

• Provide mentorship through impactful code reviews.

• Participate in open source projects to troubleshoot problems and contribute code patches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical backend engineering experience.

• Proficiency in Node.js.

• Strong skills in TypeScript.

• Experience with Python.

• Knowledge of REST API design.

• Familiarity with GraphQL API design.

• Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Proficient in MongoDB.

• Solid understanding of backend principles (queues, asynchronous patterns, error handling, observability).

• Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with GCP.

• Knowledge of Redis / BullMQ.

• Experience with Docker.

• Familiarity with ArgoCD.

• Nice to have: Experience with Pulumi / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Familiarity with Linkerd / service mesh.

• Experience with Kafka / Pub/Sub.

• Knowledge of Firestore.

• Full-stack capability: Ability to read and understand React/Next.js code; designs APIs with the developer experience (DX) of consumers in mind, prioritizing usability alongside correctness.
