This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct discovery and scoping to gain insight into client challenges related to billing, product launches, pricing and packaging, quote-to-cash, customer experience, and similar domains.
• Assist clients throughout the entire implementation lifecycle, covering requirements gathering, technical design, integration design, testing, data migration, and launch.
• Offer expert advice on usage-based pricing and consumption business models.
• Configure Metronome’s system tailored to client needs.
• Design integrations between Metronome’s APIs and client business systems, which include CRM/CPQ, payments, taxation, ERP, billing providers, and reporting and analytics tools.
• Act as a liaison between the field and Metronome R&D to advocate for client needs and feature requests.
• Collaborate with implementation managers and project team members to ensure visibility of progress while identifying risks and issues.
• Foster relationships with client stakeholders ranging from operators to C-suite executives.
• Devise integrations into prospective systems and consultatively influence prospects regarding pricing and packaging strategies.
• Guarantee a smooth transition to post-implementation teams, including Customer Success and Technical Support.
• Over 10 years of experience in technical and/or customer-facing SaaS positions, such as sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical account management.
• Extensive knowledge of quote-to-cash processes, including Salesforce, NetSuite, CPQs, as well as billing, tax, and payments integrations or tools.
• Proven experience in leading complex, multi-phase technology transformation initiatives for enterprise-level organizations.
• Familiarity with dynamic startup environments that emphasize high agency.
• Capability to rapidly learn and convey technical concepts to technical, go-to-market, and finance stakeholders.
• Enthusiasm for developing and enhancing GTM playbooks, processes, and reusable assets.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time, depending on client requirements.
• Preferred: background as a software engineer, product manager, or in another technical capacity.
• Preferred: strong grasp of project and program management principles.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with Finance/CFO, Engineering/CTO, Product/CPO, Sales Ops/CRO, or Billing Operations personnel.
• Preferred: familiarity with logs, metrics, billing, finance, infrastructure, or financial tools and concepts.
