Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Implementation teams to enhance client engagement, secure customer victories, and boost revenue for the Professional Services team.

• Plan and carry out integration engineering from start to finish, encompassing high-level architecture through to coding.

• Engage in discussions about technical concepts and elucidate Stripe's product features and API architecture.

• Educate users and the developer community regarding Stripe's value proposition, best practices, and recent technical advancements.

• Act as the primary ongoing technical liaison for the technical teams of major users and partners.

• Stay updated with Stripe technologies and software products, showcasing technical thought leadership through whitepapers, conferences, and industry events.

• Offer recommendations, feedback, and best practices to product and engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in a Software Engineering / Integration Engineering position.

• Proficient in various code-level debugging, both for Stripe code and user code.

• Comfortable discussing technical concepts and clarifying how Stripe functions from the perspective of product features and API architecture.

• A user-focused approach with empathy towards users.

• Confident and at ease when interacting with customers.

• Strong generalist technical expertise.
