Integration Engineer

Posted Jun 27

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical onboarding process for market makers and institutional partners from the initial API call to live trading, utilizing our Central Limit Order Book (CLOB), WebSocket feeds, and RFQ gateway.

• Act as the main technical contact after onboarding, managing issues, troubleshooting integrations in a live environment, and collaborating with the engineering team for resolutions.

• Create and update integration guides, code samples, and SDK documentation to expedite the time-to-live for new partners.

• Proactively monitor the health of active partner integrations and identify issues before they are reported by partners.

• Convert partner feedback, including bugs, feature requests, and API challenges, into clear and actionable insights for the product and engineering teams.

• Develop and maintain practical code samples in Python and TypeScript that partners can effectively use.

• Serve as the technical liaison between trading firms and internal engineering, clearly explaining complex system behaviors to both parties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in integrating or troubleshooting trading or exchange APIs (REST, WebSocket) in production environments, having resolved real issues under pressure rather than just in a testing environment.

• Strong expertise in Python, enabling you to write working integration examples, debug partner code, and read Rust or TypeScript when necessary.

• Excellent technical communication skills, allowing you to explain order book mechanics to a quantitative analyst at a trading firm and convey that firm's requirements to an internal engineer.

• Proven ability to manage partner or client technical relationships from initial contact through to resolution, ensuring no tasks are overlooked and anticipating next steps.

• Solid grasp of electronic trading principles, including order types, market data feeds, execution mechanics, and the behavior of latency-sensitive systems under load.

• (Plus) Experience working at a crypto exchange, DeFi protocol, or on-chain trading platform.

• (Plus) Background in client integrations for market makers or high-frequency trading firms.

• (Plus) Previous experience as a solutions engineer or developer relations engineer within a fintech or trading technology organization.

• (Plus) Familiarity with perpetuals, derivatives, or prediction markets.
