Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Talend data integration jobs that support essential business functions.

• Facilitate system-to-system integrations across various platforms, including ERP, CRM, finance, and external partners.

• Create, sustain, and enhance RESTful API integrations, incorporating authentication methods (OAuth, tokens).

• Manage and refine file-based integrations (SFTP, flat files, CSV exchange processes).

• Execute data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation among systems.

• Oversee and support integration operations, focusing on error management and performance enhancement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Data, Business) to collect requirements and implement solutions.

• Document integration architecture, processes, and operational workflows.

• Diagnose issues and take full ownership of integration-related incidents from start to finish.

• Aid in the modernization of integration architecture, transitioning from legacy ETL to API-first and scalable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency and experience with Talend (Open Studio or similar Talend platform).

• Strong grasp of ETL concepts and data integration methodologies.

• Practical experience with REST APIs (either development or consumption).

• Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys, token-based authentication).

• Experience with:

• o File-based integrations (SFTP, CSV, flat files).

• o Data transformation and mapping.

• Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Experience in Linux/Unix environments (basic scripting and job execution).

• Understanding of job scheduling, orchestration, and dependency management.

• Programming/scripting experience (e.g., Python).
