This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and manage Microsoft Project schedules utilizing defined Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), task durations, milestones, dependencies, and assigned responsibilities.
• Collaborate with program and technical teams to establish planning assumptions, confirm logical task sequences, and document feasible completion dates.
• Gather status updates; record actual start/finish dates, remaining durations, and approved modifications; and assess progress against the approved schedule baseline.
• Detect missing dependencies, conflicting dates, delayed milestones, and potential impacts on the critical path.
• Raise concerns and assist in evaluating recovery options alongside the scheduling lead.
• Support the integration of assigned portfolio schedules and common IMS templates.
• Create milestone summaries, look-ahead schedules, and accessible briefing materials.
• Coordinate implications with financial and risk analysts.
• Ensure initial IMS delivery within 30 days post-contract award, followed by weekly updates and modifications resulting from meetings.
• Generate assigned schedule analyses and reporting materials.
• Operate under the guidance of the Program Manager or senior scheduler.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, or related analytical roles; internships and significant academic projects may be considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project with hands-on experience in creating and updating schedules, including task hierarchies, dependencies, milestones, baselines, and progress tracking.
• Capability to explain schedule logic, organize inputs from various task owners, and communicate effectively using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. citizenship is required by federal clients.
• Public Trust Clearance.
• Preferred: familiarity with federal acquisition or program management, Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), screening technology programs, or critical-path analysis.
