This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Collaborate closely with Patients and Caregivers to provide education and support throughout the application and enrollment process, aiming to complete the eligibility procedure and onboard Patients and Caregivers to active Care status within 60 days of the initial call to FreedomCare.
• Supply essential documentation and requirements with Nevada Medicaid, patients' insurance, and the Patient’s Caregivers to ensure services are authorized swiftly and effectively, facilitating their transition to Care.
• Coordinate with other medical providers to verify that all documentation for prospective patients and caregivers adheres to compliance standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through one-call resolution, as evidenced by “no need for additional follow-up,” showcasing FreedomCare’s commitment to care and compassion with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Consistently achieve monthly performance metrics related to initiating patient care and managing calls.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from prospective clients, caregivers, or pending enrollees.
• Maintain a substantial open caseload until the enrollment process is finalized.
• Regularly meet monthly targets for completed starts of care.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive experience for prospective patients/caregivers.
• Engage in regular communication with various health plans regarding patient benefits and authorizations.
• Navigate multiple systems and portals to assess eligibility and secure authorization.
• Experience in a high-volume inbound and outbound call setting.
• Driven to assist patients/caregivers with the ambition to surpass open case targets and metrics.
• Must exhibit composure and patience when interacting with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of resolving issues comfortably over the phone.
• Proficiency in computer usage is required; strong typing skills and the ability to utilize technology to identify, research, and resolve customer issues.
• Strong attention to detail, metrics-oriented, and exceptional time management skills.
• High level of empathy and a collaborative team player.
• Flexibility and adaptability, as the role and responsibilities may evolve as we grow!
• Preferred: 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Preferred: 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish or other languages is desired.
