Intake Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Leverage the Float Health platform and associated technologies (Zendesk, Google Suite, Slack) to facilitate the initiation of care visits, including:

• Gathering information from pharmacies and patients

• Pairing suitable nurses with patients

• Overseeing offers in our marketplace to ensure fair compensation for nurses

• Onboarding patients onto the Float Health platform

• Verifying logistics and schedules with all parties to guarantee a safe and smooth home visit

• Addressing restaffing and rescheduling requests as they occur

• Communicating effectively, courteously, and proactively with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients via email, phone, chat, and SMS

• Handling inbound calls, emails, chats, and SMS, while also initiating outbound communications

• Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams in shared queues and Slack to ensure completion of visit documentation and related tasks

• Prioritizing and managing multiple tasks concurrently

• Continuously learning new processes and technologies

• Cultivating and sustaining positive relationships with colleagues at specialty pharmacies

• Executing tasks related to pharmacy engagement as necessary

• Providing feedback to enhance our technology and processes

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in medical scheduling

• Capability to utilize multiple technology platforms concurrently

• Ability to manage incoming communications while supporting additional tasks

• Proficiency in typing 60 words per minute with high accuracy

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Highly organized with exceptional time management abilities

• Outstanding customer service skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the capacity to understand and convey complex information clearly to all users

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team

• Familiarity with medical terminology and policies, along with prior experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred

• Previous experience in infusion therapy, healthcare intake, or specialty pharmacy is advantageous

• Prior startup experience is also preferred
