Intake Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Respond to inquiries from clients via phone, email, and web regarding the treatment facilities or clinics of Homewood.

• Provide details about the programs and services offered at Homewood Health Center and throughout the Homewood Continuum.

• Conduct phone screenings to evaluate if individuals wish to proceed with the admission process.

• Ensure that patients have a funding source to access inpatient services.

• Create and maintain electronic client records and demographic data using PASport and Salesforce.

• Schedule client appointments with HHC Intake Specialists in a shared calendar.

• Share leads with the Treatment Consultant Team.

• Contribute to delivering seamless services and programs for patients and clients as part of a collaborative team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Humanities, Counseling, or a related field.

• Two to five years of experience in a social service setting with direct client interaction.

• Clinical knowledge of mental health and addiction issues.

• Exceptional customer service skills and a sense of accountability.

• Ability to work independently while actively contributing to team goals.

• Strong initiative and adaptability to change, including openness to new ideas and methods.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• High attention to detail, along with strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Must have completed all required COVID-19 vaccinations approved by Health Canada, subject to applicable accommodation requirements.
