This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Review and process applications for patient assistance along with supporting documentation.
• Perform investigations regarding insurance and verify patient coverage information.
• Evaluate patient financial data to establish eligibility for programs.
• Communicate the results of applications and provide status updates to patients and healthcare providers.
• Provide exceptional customer service through both inbound and outbound phone communications.
• Address patient inquiries related to coverage, eligibility, and program requirements.
• Maintain precise records and documentation in internal systems.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and all relevant privacy standards.
• Achieve productivity, quality, and service-level goals.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Over 5 years of experience in insurance verification.
• More than 5 years of experience in a call center environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
• Strong customer service skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• High degree of empathy and professionalism while assisting patients.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and relevant privacy regulations.
