Insurance Technician II – Billing, Life Insurance Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Review and dispatch billing kits to clients within designated SLAs to ensure timely payments.

• Accept and validate the transactions/files submitted by clients, ensuring adherence to contractual stipulations.

• When an analysis of the Enrollment Proposal is necessary, take charge of reviewing, dispatching, and following up with both insurers and clients.

• Upload files to the insurers' websites or send them via email as needed.

• Retrieve invoices from the designated websites/channels provided by insurers, verify them, and send to clients; if discrepancies arise, return them to the insurer for necessary corrections.

• Maintain the files received from clients and insurers in each client’s internal system.

• Generate reports and cost allocations (prorations) utilizing internal tools, adhering to the client's requested model.

• Distribute the billing kits, containing the requisite files, via email or through the system to clients within the established SLA.

• Negotiate extensions of payment due dates with carriers/operators in instances of team delays or failures.

• Address client inquiries via email or phone.

• Enter endorsements in Alper's internal system.

• Ensure internal controls are accurately completed and updated.

• Suggest enhancements to the processes under your purview.

• Assist in training Insurance Technician I staff.

• Engage in client meetings.

• Concentrate on corporate clients.

• High school diploma is mandatory; pursuing a university degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related fields is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

• Fundamental understanding of Group Life Insurance.
