This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Guide clients in identifying their personal or business needs, objectives, financial condition, gaps, and opportunities.
• Articulate life, long-term care, and disability income insurance solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Oversee daily operations and drive sales activities alongside managing pending business.
• Respond to incoming calls from referral sources and participate in scheduled calls with clients and advisors.
• Complete insurance applications and monitor cases throughout the underwriting process.
• Clarify the functionality, distinctions, and benefits of insurance products to clients and advisors.
• Facilitate the completion of sales activities leading to product purchases.
• Provide insights into the fundamentals of estate planning, business planning, asset leveraging, and insurance planning.
• Manage 1035 exchanges, clarify insurance forms, and assess coverage needs and amounts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work experience.
• At least 2 years of direct experience in selling life, long-term care, and disability income insurance in the field with clients, or 3+ years of inside sales experience assisting agents in selling life insurance through a General Agency or insurance carrier platform.
• Current 6/63 FINRA Registration.
• An active Life and Health Insurance license is mandatory.
• Must obtain and maintain relevant FINRA registrations (e.g., Series 6 and 63).
• Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills for both internal and external clients.
• Proficient time management skills.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to function in a self-directed manner.
• Experience using PCs in a Windows setting.
• Demonstrated competence in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office software products.
• Skill in analyzing problems and creating solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Comprehensive understanding of term, whole life, universal life, variable universal life, long-term care, and disability insurance products.
• Proven sales record of achieving set sales quotas in the insurance sector.
• Familiarity with the underwriting process.
