This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, assess, and cultivate personal insurance opportunities with both new and existing clients through various channels, including in-person meetings, online interactions, phone calls, and written correspondence.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients and prospects by providing follow-up, quotations, and comprehensive account support.
• Anticipate and address the needs of existing clients while ensuring timely follow-ups.
• Prospect for round accounts, seek increases in current coverage, and network to attract new clients, including reinstating former clients.
• Secure optimal coverage and rates, process quotes, bind insurance coverage, and follow up on inspections, photographs, and necessary documentation.
• Present insurance policies and educate clients on coverages and pricing structures.
• Assist clients with renewal and retention efforts.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on key metrics to meet sales objectives.
• Accurately and promptly complete documentation of sales activities.
• Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise, answer inquiries, and engage in meetings.
• Maintain ongoing education and stay updated on industry news, products, legislation, coverages, and technological advancements.
• Possess the insurance license mandated by your state.
• A minimum of two years of experience in personal and commercial lines insurance account management.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, their applications, rating and underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry practices.
• Documented history of success in business-to-business sales.
• Excellent presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close sales effectively.
• People-oriented, customer-centric, and assertive in fostering and managing client relationships.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to handle complex tasks independently.
• Strong business acumen and decision-making abilities.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficient in technology and computer systems, including agency management software.
