This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Google’s in-house insurance team to develop and sustain a thorough insurance framework.
• Assess risk tolerance and advise leadership on essential insurance choices and coverage strategies.
• Establish and standardize processes that facilitate scalable insurance operations.
• Act as the main liaison between Intersect teams and Google’s insurance division.
• Convert technical project specifications into clear insurance requirements and coverage justifications.
• Ensure alignment among both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collect and synthesize technical data to aid in the insurance placement processes.
• Review contracts and provide standardized insurance language.
• Guarantee compliance with insurance requirements across various projects.
• Maintain the internal insurance data repository and documentation.
• Monitor policy terms and coverage across different entities and technologies.
• Manage Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests.
• Assist with premium evaluations and internal audits.
• Facilitate claims processes with precise documentation.
• Oversee the insurance budget and premium forecasting.
• Assess cost against coverage value.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in insurance coordination, risk management, or cross-functional roles.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or asset-heavy sectors.
• Strong comprehension of risk profiles associated with energy technologies and relevant insurance products.
• Demonstrated ability to manage intricate workflows and coordinate stakeholders effectively.
• Proficiency in G Suite and Slack.
• Total Compensation: $188,500 - $205,400 (total compensation includes base salary + bonus in USD).
