Insurance Renewals, Broker Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete commercial insurance renewal process, ensuring all renewals are executed accurately and punctually.

• Track policy expiration dates and proactively manage the renewals pipeline to avert any lapses in coverage.

• Reach out to clients to gather renewal declarations and follow up until all necessary information is acquired.

• Prepare renewal documentation and submit applications to underwriters for renewal.

• Source alternative terms and re-market policies as directed by the broker.

• Create renewal offers and accompanying documentation for broker review and approval before binding.

• Collaborate closely with the Account Manager/Broker throughout the renewal process, escalating complex or high-risk cases and seeking advice when needed.

• Assist with broker support tasks during slower renewal periods, including preparing quotes, submitting applications to underwriters, and issuing cover confirmation emails.

• Process policy endorsements, maintain precise client records, and ensure all documentation is updated within the broking platform and CRM.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of policy, client, and pipeline records while adhering to Australian insurance industry standards and internal procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Australian commercial insurance broking, particularly focused on policy renewals.

• Practical experience with the Winbeat broking platform.

• Proficient in HubSpot CRM, including managing deals, pipelines, notes, tasks, and client records.

• Strong comprehension of the commercial insurance policy lifecycle, encompassing quotations, binding, endorsements, renewals, and policy management.

• Familiarity with commercial insurance products, such as liability, business packs, commercial motor, plant and equipment, professional indemnity, and management liability.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in policy documentation, record-keeping, and compliance.

• Capability to independently manage a portfolio of renewals while meeting deadlines and maintaining service standards.

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively.

• Confident communicator who collaborates efficiently with brokers, underwriters, and clients, escalating issues appropriately rather than making assumptions.

• **Desirable Qualifications & Experience**

• Tier 1 or Tier 2 Insurance qualification, or an equivalent understanding of RG146 requirements.

• Familiarity with premium funding processes.

• Previous experience in an Australian insurance brokerage.

• Exposure to insurance claims administration or claims support.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while upholding a high standard of accuracy and compliance.
