Insurance & Pre-Registration Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Confirms insurance coverage and benefits by using online eligibility tools, visiting websites, or making phone inquiries to the insurance administrator or third-party payor.

• Records patient financial responsibilities as mandated by departmental procedures to ensure accurate payments are collected at the time of service.

• Initiates, acquires, and documents pre-certifications and prior authorizations as specified by departmental policies.

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent, or a post-high school diploma or the highest degree attained.

• Experience - A minimum of two (2) years in billing, bookkeeping, or accounting roles.
