Insurance Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Play a key role in safeguarding Alan's competitive advantage by addressing essential topics such as regulatory requirements pertinent to products and contracts.

• Assist Alan's legal team in significant business discussions, providing input on RFP submissions and contract negotiations.

• Enhance product quality and member protection by identifying the most effective methods to comply with regulatory standards.

• Aid in maintaining an insurance compliance framework and assist in translating regulatory duties into operational procedures.

• Participate in insurance compliance initiatives across various markets and support international compliance efforts.

• Assist in shaping regulatory developments and fostering relationships with insurance regulators.

• Boost legal independence by contributing to internal legal structures and leveraging AI tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance law and/or social protection law at a leading insurance law firm or within an insurance company.

• Experience with commercial insurance matters, particularly health and/or disability insurance contracts.

• Knowledge of insurance regulatory frameworks, including ACPR guidelines, rules around insurance distribution, and legal regulations relevant to health and disability insurance contracts.

• Bonus - experience in international markets and proficiency in drafting documents in English is advantageous.

• Bonus - prior experience at a regulatory authority would be a plus.

• Proficiency in French and a high level of professional English (both written and spoken).
