• Print, process, and send out standard letters and emails as required.
• Accurately and efficiently enter data, ensuring quality checks on cash receipts as per standards; assist with data cleansing and mass modification projects.
• Provide exceptional service standards and meet key performance indicators (KPIs), while keeping data updated.
• Collaborate with both internal and external parties to address queries within processing timelines.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives or project work to enhance processes.
• Conduct ad hoc reporting and projects aimed at improving credit control services, focusing on enhancing, standardizing, and automating processes wherever feasible.
• Oversee the direct debt process, reconcile discrepancies on client and broker accounts, allocate received cash, recover overdue debts, and manage a small portfolio of brokers.
• Send out monthly statements and communications regarding overdue accounts to clients, addressing inquiries swiftly.
• Address queries from underwriters and brokers through email, letters, and phone calls.
• Reconcile bank transactions in coordination with the finance department.
• Assist in training new staff and participate in the transition of new tasks.
• Implement procedures based on brokerage schemes, products, or exceptions, including recovery via mail, email, phone, or fax; negotiate payment terms; manage notice impacts; establish debt issues for collection companies or judicial officers; address customer complaints and complex system challenges such as electronic data interchange (EDI) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collect premiums and manage a broker and partner portfolio based on contract or intermediary-related stimulus patterns.
• Ensure recovery charges reduce outstanding portfolios while maintaining strong business relationships and high-quality service to partners.
• Analyze aging reports and manage your own portfolio.
• Responsible for collecting premiums, processing commission payments, refunds, and other overpayments.
• Enter regulations into the computer system: manage unpaid items, oversee each step of the procedure, and resolve outstanding financial movements.
• Seek proactive methods to comply with regulatory, tax, corporate, and compliance requirements when necessary.
• Maintain and update process documentation and task logs.
• A baccalaureate qualification is required.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
• Strong telephone etiquette with excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
• Inquisitive, eager to learn, and willing to challenge the status quo.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality outputs under pressure.
