Assistant Controller, English Speaker

📋 Description

• Execute monthly revenue accruals in collaboration with billing, CSM, and sales teams, while preparing calculations for deferred revenue. Assist with audit and tax obligations concerning revenue recognition and bookings.

• Oversee cost bookings, including supplier payments, trainer fees, payroll, and intercompany transactions, ensuring adherence to procurement policies and precise allocation to cost centers and accounts.

• Generate monthly payroll journals based on inputs from payroll providers and aid in audit and tax compliance processes related to all payment activities.

• Confirm that all Profit & Loss transactions are accurately recorded with the correct accounting dimensions, and conduct monthly trial balance reviews to identify and rectify any unusual entries.

• Complete timely balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting.

• Lead weekly group cash forecasting and support banking initiatives such as rationalizing bank accounts across regions.

• Manage the quarterly sales commission calculation and reporting process at the group level, handling complex commission structures and coordinating with sales, billing, and commercial stakeholders to ensure precision, transparency, and audit readiness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (CA/ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 4–6 years of robust accounting and financial reporting experience.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (preferred) and exposure to rapidly scaling or complex multi-entity environments.

• Strong background in international, multi-currency group structures.

• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end accounting processes, emphasizing accuracy and financial reporting.

• Systems-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach to operational delivery, alongside a proactive and resilient attitude, exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, and outstanding analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
