Insurance Assurance Consultant – Accounting and Multi-Standard Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Finance Departments of leading clients in the insurance sector.

• Spearhead significant transformation initiatives concerning updates in accounting standards, regulatory changes, and prudential requirements.

• Assist clients in enhancing and streamlining their closing and reporting processes.

• Offer operational assistance.

• Evaluate internal control systems and risk management frameworks.

• Aid in the growth and development of junior team members.

• Engage in transformation, compliance, organizational, and/or process enhancement projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree, business school degree, or equivalent university qualification.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a large corporation or consulting firm.

• In-depth understanding of the insurance industry, its various business lines, and essential processes (risk, finance, compliance, etc.).

• Strong familiarity with national, European, and international standards and regulations, especially IFRS 9, IFRS 17, Solvency II, and ENS.

• Expertise in project management methodologies and tools.

• Knowledge of Agile methodology, including planning, budget management, quality assurance, and team supervision and coordination.

• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and team leadership abilities.

• Self-sufficiency, commitment, effectiveness, and a robust client-service focus.

• Proficiency in English.
