Instructor – Data Visualization with Tableau

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct live online training sessions focused on Tableau and data visualization principles.

• Address essential subjects such as: Basics of data visualization and storytelling, Data organization and preparation using Tableau, Developing charts, dashboards, and interactive reports, Utilizing filters, parameters, and sets, Advanced visualization methods (heat maps, treemaps, etc.), Best practices for dashboard design, Real-world business applications and case studies.

• Offer practical assistance for lab exercises and projects.

• Guide learners and address technical or conceptual questions.

• Perform assessments, evaluations, or mock sessions as necessary.

• Ensure the quality of sessions and maintain learner engagement metrics.

• Work alongside internal teams to update curriculum and provide feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop/Server.

• Background in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics positions.

• Strong comprehension of data preparation and analysis.

• Previous experience in delivering training, either online or in-person, is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Tableau certification (Desktop Specialist / Associate / Professional) is a plus.

• Familiarity with SQL, Excel, or Python for data analysis is preferred.

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Looker is advantageous.

• Proven experience in creating dashboards for business scenarios is preferred.

• Compensation

• The expected pay range for this role is $55 – $60 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

• This position is categorized as Part-Time, Non-Exempt, and employees will be compensated for all hours worked in compliance with relevant federal and state wage and hour regulations.
