Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with faculty and members of the Learning Design & Development (LD&D) team to design, create, and enhance educational experiences that prioritize learner engagement across online, hybrid, and in-person formats.

• Utilize learning experience design (LXD), best practices in instructional design, AI-enhanced tools, and learning analytics to produce high-quality, accessible, and outcome-focused courses that align with SoPA workflows, quality assurance standards, and term readiness procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in supporting the development of online or blended courses and familiarity with LMS platforms (preferably Canvas).

• Background in instructional design within higher education.

• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, etc.

• Knowledge of AI tools applicable to learning design.

• Experience in supporting faculty training or development initiatives.

• Ability to align instructional materials and assessments with course and program learning outcomes.
