Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design and create instructional materials such as eLearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual ILT (vILT), job aids, and assessments.

• Develop custom graphics, illustrations, and visual assets to enhance educational content.

• Create 3D models and animations utilizing tools like 3DS Max and V-Ray to support training on technical topics or products.

• Edit and produce training videos with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

• Implement instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) along with adult learning principles to ensure effective transmission of knowledge.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and simplify complex subjects into engaging learning experiences.

• Ensure that all content adheres to accessibility, branding, and quality standards.

• Independently manage project timelines and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia Design, Education, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in instructional design or the development of digital learning materials.

• Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, PowerPoint).

• Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering using 3DS Max and V-Ray.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a remote or hybrid work setting.

• Familiarity with SCORM and accessibility standards (Preferred).

• A portfolio that showcases instructional design work, including multimedia and 3D content (Preferred).
