This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• This position merges curriculum design, instructional design, project management, vendor management, and technology skills.
• Curriculum Design involves outlining the ideal training journey for each audience to cultivate necessary knowledge and competencies.
• Instructional Design focuses on crafting and developing training courses/experiences to ensure all learning objectives are fulfilled, equipping trainees with the required knowledge and competencies upon successful course completion.
• Project and vendor management entails collaborating with our courseware developers to provide guidance and oversight in the creation of training materials.
• You will be responsible for designing and creating curriculum and instructional resources for your designated audiences and products, as well as engaging in their development.
• Collaborate with Delivery Enablement and various functional areas to establish and continuously enhance comprehensive training capabilities.
• Work alongside SMEs and other stakeholders to design curriculum and course content (Instructor-Led, Virtual, eLearning, Emerging Channels) with the aim of converting that into actionable learning promptly.
• Evaluate training needs and become a subject matter expert by fostering relationships with the product house, reviewing documentation, attending training sessions, researching your audience, and participating in product meetings.
• Engage with Sales Training and Product teams to stay informed on new functionalities and their implications for the technical audience.
• Each curriculum and course will be designed to incorporate descriptions, lengths, target audiences, prerequisites, objectives, outcomes, agendas, and course outlines/storyboards that reflect a Day in the Life of the respective audience.
• Employ various instructional strategies, models, and theories to produce instructionally sound content.
• Integrate cutting-edge instructional methods and technologies into e-learning.
• Ensure that learning components across all formats are rooted in adult learning principles.
• Define and oversee project timelines while managing multiple assigned courses concurrently to guarantee proper stakeholder input, quality, and timely completion.
• Develop, assign, and refine training materials such as training slides, Instructor Guides, Participant Guides, exercises, case studies, job aids, and supplemental resources to enhance learning retention and provide 'in the moment' resources to boost learning and retention.
• Validate course quality through pilot sessions and make necessary updates.
• Foster excellence by advocating for industry-leading practices and continuous improvement efforts.
• Contribute to standardized processes and best practices for curriculum development, utilizing adult learning principles and contemporary learning theories.
• Synthesize and apply review feedback to ensure the effective use of delivery methods and activity types to enhance learning outcomes, meet customer needs, and align with the overall blended strategy.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and projects remain on schedule.
• Upload training content to the appropriate repositories/platforms for record retention and distribution, while maintaining version control.
• A Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, with proficiency in either live (ILT, Virtual) or asynchronous (eLearning) instructional design modalities.
• Proven knowledge of adult learning theory and its application in a blended learning context.
• Ability to identify training needs and convert them into innovative and engaging training solutions.
• Demonstrated success in developing curriculum paths based on skill requirements and training needs across various modalities.
• Experience in a multi-cultural, global organization.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Capability to influence and indirectly manage across various functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow overall course design and objectives while contributing value through outstanding execution.
• Creative aptitude to convey complex topics clearly and concisely in an engaging manner that resonates with each audience.
• Experience in delivering training instruction is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to progress multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize projects flexibly, and respond to feedback.
• Experience in a sales and/or technical field is a plus, particularly in implementing software with an understanding of database concepts.
• Knowledge of the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry and/or SaaS Technology is a plus.
