Instruction Design Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive execution of intricate learning design and development initiatives.

• Coordinate timelines, dependencies, deliverables, risks, and course sequencing among various contributors.

• Act as Scrum Master by managing backlogs, allocating tasks, tracking progress, escalating issues, and maintaining quality standards.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to establish scope, manage expectations, and ensure learning solutions align with business goals.

• Conduct quality assurance reviews and deliver actionable feedback on instructional materials.

• Enhance learning design, development workflows, and program execution.

• Develop and uphold scalable processes, templates, standards, and documentation.

• Investigate, assess, and pilot new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

• Design and create instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and self-paced eLearning solutions.

• Implement adult learning theory, instructional systems design, and cognitive learning principles.

• Generate learning content utilizing designated authoring and design technologies.

• Formulate assessment strategies, assess learning effectiveness, and suggest improvements.

• Direct Call Center training development initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 8 years of instructional design experience supporting both instructor-led and eLearning solutions, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven ability to manage large, intricate learning programs involving multiple stakeholders and contributors.

• Excellent analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Experience in conducting quality assurance reviews and providing constructive feedback on instructional content.

• Proven experience leading efforts across multiple contributors, managing work backlogs, and coordinating project execution against deadlines.

• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning theory, and principles of learning science.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies, process improvement practices, and change implementation.

• Experience in creating templates, standards, and documentation that enhance quality, consistency, and scalability.

• Proficient in technical writing and computer skills.

• Demonstrated technical aptitude and a quick ability to learn new technologies.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively with SMEs and business stakeholders.

• Dedication to continuous learning and the adoption of emerging technologies.

• Intermediate proficiency in one or more eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, or Lectora.

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT.

• Agile or Scrum Master certification, ISD or Performance Improvement certification, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, familiarity with AI-enabled learning tools, and experience in financial services are considered advantageous.
