Installation Technician – CATSA, 100% Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Installs and commissions conveyor systems along with electrical connections on industrial handling equipment.

• Conducts installations, repairs, and modifications of equipment in the field; provides customer training as necessary.

• Carries out a range of maintenance and technical support on products including equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or factory locations.

• Achieves weekly project installation targets within stipulated deadlines.

• Records all inspections, maintenance, and repair activities, submitting paperwork promptly.

• Diagnoses and troubleshoots malfunctions to resolve issues in minimal time.

• Maintains strong communication and relationships with customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• An Associate's degree or a graduate from a technical school in the electronics field or equivalent experience.

• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screening, and an extensive credit check.

• Proficient in computer use; skilled in all applications within the MS Office Suite.

• Familiarity with x-ray and/or CT technologies.

• Experience in network installation and configuration is advantageous.

• Knowledge of PLC systems is a plus.
