Installation Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

• Trusted Dental Technologies is the parent brand created through the synergistic merger of three leading companies in the market.

• We are seeking Technicians to provide outstanding customer support and carry out on-site installation and servicing of computers and X-Ray equipment for dental and dental specialty offices.

• The role operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring versatility and adaptability.

• Responsibilities include installing, removing, and certifying equipment: setting up panoramic X-ray and cone beam machinery along with associated computers.

• Calibrate equipment to ensure the delivery of high-quality images and optimal performance.

• Test and remove existing equipment for purchase, recertification, or disposal.

• Enhance the expertise of our Trusted Dental Technicians through co-travel certifications and manage third-party assistants by delegating and overseeing tasks.

• Conduct performance tests on acquired equipment to verify quality and condition.

• Properly maintain tools and testing equipment.

• Provide on-site or remote technical support for computers and dental imaging devices.

• Develop and uphold necessary technical documentation and procedures.

• Ensure timely completion of required internal and regulatory documentation, as well as expense reports.

• Engage in installation, troubleshooting, and configuration of digital systems managed by 1-2 computer systems via Ethernet and wireless connections.

• Facilitate training sessions for small groups of doctors and dental staff on basic equipment operations, hardware usage, and software training.

• Maintain consistent communication with customers and team members to ensure issue resolution and appropriate follow-up, driving customer satisfaction.

• Comply with health and human services, environmental health and safety, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

• Utilize the escalation process to address customer service challenges and conduct effective root cause analysis for efficient problem-solving.

• Collaborate as a team member to deliver efficient and cost-effective service to all assigned clients.

• Take on additional responsibilities as requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate of an electronics/technology program and MSCE or an equivalent IT Certification.

• Basic skills and comfort with electrical and electromechanical systems.

• Minimum foundational IT knowledge related to Operating Systems, networking, etc.

• Understanding of residential and commercial building/construction methods is a plus.

• Proficient in the use of power hand tools and low-voltage systems, which are essential for the installation of capital equipment in dental offices.

• Experience with installation or service from at least one of the leading CBCT manufacturers such as Sirona, Dexis, Instrumentarium, Planmeca, Carestream, Vatech, Axion, and Ray brand.

• Desired knowledge and experience in computer networking.

• Must be located near a major airport.

• Willingness to travel four nights per week on average.

• Occasional weekend and holiday travel will be necessary; travel is a significant aspect of this position.

• Must be able to travel with tools and equipment for the installation process.

• Ability to lift over 100 pounds.

• Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a passport for potential travel outside of the US.

• Prior military experience is appreciated!
