This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee Installation Team Leads and Installation Technicians tasked with the installation, relocation, decommissioning, upgrading, and commissioning of all Leidos SES Ports and Borders products.
• Formulate and sustain project schedules, resource planning, and installation timelines.
• Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding installation performance and operational efficiency.
• Manage project deliverables and ensure that all milestones are completed on time.
• Generate project estimates, quotations, and cost forecasts within the designated region.
• Provide Basis of Estimate (BOE) contributions for bids, proposals, and tenders.
• Create and uphold installation labor standards and project execution metrics.
• Ensure projects align with expected timelines, quality standards, and customer obligations.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management to oversee workforce planning, overtime, and technician scheduling.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through effective project execution and prompt issue resolution.
• Recognize and apply process improvements to boost installation efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate project activities with internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and onsite personnel.
• Schedule and allocate project resources to fulfill installation needs.
• Ensure project financial goals and budget expectations are met.
• Maintain precise project, asset, and customer data within CRM and project management systems.
• Promote data governance and reporting discipline across the installation team.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Production teams to synchronize project schedules with equipment assembly, testing, and delivery timelines.
• Track production status and proactively address scheduling risks to meet installation milestones.
• Organize factory acceptance testing (FAT), shipment readiness, site readiness, and field installation tasks.
• Facilitate communication among Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Supply Chain, and Field Services teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Foster accountability among cross-functional stakeholders to fulfill customer delivery commitments and meet project deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering) or Construction Management.
• Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree, including 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, construction management, installation management, field services, or related technical operations environments.
• 8–12 years of direct experience in project/program management and installation of advanced electrical, electronic, mechanical, infrastructure, or integrated systems.
• Proven experience in leading installation, construction, technical services, or field operations teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution.
• Proficient in computer use and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, leadership, customer service, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently while juggling multiple projects and priorities.
• Willingness and capability to travel extensively, including short-notice travel as necessary.
