This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee a designated territory in support of the team.
• Develop and implement account strategies from initial prospecting to creating and sustaining a revenue pipeline.
• Accelerate sales cycles to closure while fostering relationships and establishing credibility.
• Provide essential pre-sales assistance to prospects and clients.
• Collaborate with Channel Teams and reseller partners to drive transactions and enhance revenue.
• Achieve or surpass designated quotas and goals.
• Project weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue for the territory.
• Follow up on inbound leads, website inquiries, and corporate event contacts to create opportunities.
• Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to discover sales opportunities.
• Meet and exceed daily call and activity benchmarks.
• Manage customer presentations and demonstrations utilizing online platforms.
• Monitor sales opportunities, including MGOs, deal registrations, and quotes, in Salesforce.
• Coordinate with channel and partner teams to support the company's revenue objectives.
• Conduct ongoing research and provide reports on supported opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between partners, customers, and relevant Fortinet team members.
• Perform additional tasks and projects that contribute to business growth.
• Bilingual in French and English is required.
• Must be based in Montreal.
• Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales quotas and objectives.
• Knowledge of the sales cycle and both internal and external business processes.
• Capability to manage and drive the sales cycle from inception to completion.
• Ability to handle a diverse, high-volume workload; self-driven and flexible.
• Capacity to rapidly build effective relationships in a dynamic, high-performance setting.
• Proficient in various software application programs.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation capabilities.
• Experience in managing and forecasting individual quotas.
• Strong time management and activity management skills.
• Ability to leverage entrepreneurial strengths in a progressive manner.
• Established work ethic and time-management abilities.
• Ability to close business while ensuring high levels of customer and partner satisfaction.
• Experience with public/private cloud is advantageous.
• Familiarity with multi-tier distribution is a plus.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and vehicle is required.
• Must be willing to regularly work outside of the office or home office and travel as necessary to secure sales.
