This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Act as the main point of contact for all issues related to designated accounts or regions.
• Foster and sustain long-term, positive relationships with clients.
• Ensure the prompt and effective delivery of products and services that meet client requirements and align with company goals.
• Maintain an extensive understanding of accounts and contacts within your designated area.
• Update and oversee customer information in the CRM system.
• Achieve or surpass assigned revenue targets.
• Make at least 30 outbound calls daily to engage with clients and prospects.
• Design and distribute targeted email campaigns and promotional communications weekly or biweekly.
• Respond to all customer emails within one hour or less.
• Professionally manage inbound customer calls and inquiries.
• Become a subject matter expert on clients' products, pricing, and decoration techniques.
• Offer both proactive and reactive recommendations to clients regarding products and projects.
• Develop and present virtual product demonstrations customized to client needs.
• Follow up on all leads, opportunities, sample requests, and projects.
• Enter and manage sample requests efficiently.
• Address customer issues and escalate challenges when necessary.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Provide support to fellow team members as needed.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales or a comparable customer-facing position.
• Strong communication and influencing abilities, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• A proven history of delivering customer-focused solutions.
• Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication capabilities.
• At least 2 years of completed college coursework; a degree is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to compile and analyze sales reports.
• Prior experience in the promotional products industry is essential.
