This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Sales Associates play a crucial role in cultivating and sustaining outstanding customer relationships through the sales of the IQSIGHT product portfolio.
• This role involves the introduction, marketing, quoting, and selling of IQSIGHT video products via both outbound and inbound calls.
• You will be a vital part of the sales regions, collaborating with them to boost sales and enhance knowledge of IQSIGHT products.
• Sales activities will account for approximately 60-70% of your responsibilities.
• Actively seek out new business relationships and opportunities within your territory.
• Execute targeted sales/product campaigns aimed at reactivating dormant accounts.
• Identify key decision-makers among targeted leads to initiate the sales process.
• Assess the needs and requirements of prospects and recommend suitable solutions.
• Persuade prospects to purchase, utilize, or retain our products and/or services.
• Effectively position our products in relation to competitors.
• Deliver accurate written product and price quotations (Request for Quote – RFQ) to both internal and external customers and follow up on all outstanding quotes.
• Engage in regional partnership activities by working with the Director of Sales to execute action plans, monitor dealer participation in promotional and demo programs, review territory performance, and conduct annual dealer stratification.
• Provide training for new regional team members on sales programs and procedures.
• Travel to regional trade shows and team meetings as necessitated by business needs.
• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate degree in Business or a technical field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of pre-sales, customer service, or inside sales experience, ideally in technology product sales.
• A strong working knowledge of Security Systems products, particularly video products and systems, is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with other Security products such as access control, fire, intrusion, and/or Communications products (critical communications, public address, and/or professional audio) is advantageous.
• Proficient computer skills, especially in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong presentation skills are required.
• Professional telephone etiquette is necessary.
• Ability to manage stressful situations efficiently and professionally.
• Show an aptitude for understanding relevant technology and be committed to ongoing learning and effectively communicating products in a fast-paced industry.
• Ability to foster a team-oriented approach to meet sales objectives and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is desirable.
