Inpatient Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversees the daily operations of the Utilization Management (UM) team of clinicians.

• Responsible for medical management tasks related to utilization and discharge planning across acute inpatient, LTAC, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities, in addition to Out of Network Management.

• Accountable for the execution, monitoring, and oversight of departmental functions and initiatives.

• Collaborates with various departments and staff at Point32Health to enhance service delivery and demonstrate outcomes.

• Partners to facilitate the provision of services through integrated care teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred: Registered Nurse with an active Massachusetts license.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with leadership experience in managed care systems and operations.

• Must possess a solid understanding of utilization management and case management principles.

• Experience should reflect a functional knowledge of utilization management across various payment models.

• Proven expertise in implementing business process changes and leading teams effectively.
