Inpatient Hospital Coding Specialist III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Codes inpatient and/or IRAD at 90% of the current FTE status

• Reviews and accurately interprets documentation from medical records

• Ensures correct MS-DRG assignment through precise coding

• Assigns hospital codes across various patient categories

• Communicates with physicians or other individuals as needed to gather information essential for accurate code assignments

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Active HIM or Coding Certification from AHIMA or AAPC

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in hospital inpatient coding or interventional radiology coding
