Innovation Principal, Emerging Technology

📋 Description

• The Innovation Principal collaborates with designers, ecosystem partners, and various domain experts to transform the delivery of eye care and eyewear globally.

• Lead and design initiatives that investigate and expand concepts pertinent to designated domain areas, ensuring a significant business impact.

• Oversee designated domain areas and develop a comprehensive understanding of their potential, maturity, and influence on our business.

• Leverage existing expertise to swiftly grasp new technologies, business models, markets, consumer trends, and other elements essential for maintaining domain knowledge.

• Skilled in concept testing and validation, user research, and other related experimental methodologies.

• Assess and compare products using tailored scorecards that emphasize capabilities and their applicability to specific business challenges.

• Recognize and articulate problems and opportunity areas, formulate hypotheses, and choose suitable testing methods to validate assumptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 6 years of experience in areas such as Innovation, Emerging Technology, Research & Development, Product Design, or other related domains.

• Preferably, industry experience in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and technology.

• Profound expertise in a relevant subject matter domain along with a broad understanding of adjacent fields, including healthcare, business models, and technology.

• Proven track record of advancing projects amidst uncertainty and recognizing when a pivot is necessary.

• Experience in creative environments, whether in consulting or large corporate settings.

• Outstanding presentation and communication abilities, including the capacity to write research briefs and create presentations (PowerPoint).
