This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and cloud-based architectures.

• Implement and manage solutions using AWS services or an equivalent cloud provider.

• Develop serverless functions with AWS Lambda and orchestrate deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure the quality and availability of services.

• Participate in API design and the integration of distributed services.

• Contribute to the definition of best practices for development, security, and cloud scalability.

• Assist in incident resolution and optimization of production services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development.

• Experience with cloud services and architectures (AWS preferred; equivalent experience in Azure or GCP will be considered).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container platforms (Docker).

• Experience with serverless functions (AWS Lambda or equivalent).

• Knowledge of microservices architectures and REST API design.

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (Java, Node.js, Python, .NET, Go, or another).

• Experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.

• Good communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams.

• Proactive approach and technical autonomy.

• Desired: AWS certifications (Developer Associate, Solutions Architect, or others).

• Preferred experience with relational and non-relational databases in the cloud (RDS, DynamoDB, or others).

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.

• Knowledge of CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana is advantageous.

• Previous experience in finance or banking projects is desirable.
