Infrastructure Test Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Establish and take ownership of testing strategies, plans, scope, as well as entry and exit criteria

• Oversee testing activities across infrastructure and technology deployment programs

• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), pilot testing, and production rollouts

• Create and uphold Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)

• Manage defects, risks, and quality governance throughout the entire project lifecycle

• Review and validate test evidence, test results, and deployment readiness assessments

• Facilitate testing milestone approvals and production deployment sign-offs

• Define and maintain deployment runbooks, validation methods, and rollback strategies

• Ensure operational readiness, which includes monitoring, support processes, and service transition

• Generate quality status reports and offer recommendations for Go/No-Go decisions

• Promote automation-first and quality engineering practices as applicable

• Collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to achieve successful project results

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Test Manager, especially in infrastructure or technology transformation programs

• Background in testing infrastructure, cloud, network, end-user computing, workplace technology, platforms, or migration projects

• Solid grasp of Quality Engineering, test automation, and shift-left methodologies

• Experience in defining test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality checkpoints

• Extensive experience with SIT, UAT, pilot deployments, and production rollouts

• Competence in defect management, risk assessment, and quality governance

• Experience in creating deployment validation, rollback, and operational readiness plans

• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities

• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies

• Applicants must already be residing in Portugal; this is a requirement
