Infrastructure Security Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and enhance the Infrastructure Security team, ensuring definitive ownership, accountability, and effective execution.

• Establish and advance the Infrastructure Security strategy, roadmap, standards, and operational framework.

• Assess and prioritize team initiatives based on security risks, business implications, engineering capabilities, and regulatory demands.

• Provide guidance on security across various infrastructure environments, including cloud platforms, Kubernetes, endpoints, privileged access management, remote access, and vulnerability management.

• Develop scalable processes for risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to embed security early in the development process and enhance execution.

• Clearly communicate infrastructure security risks, priorities, trade-offs, and progress to both technical teams and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on leading and managing technical security teams.

• Robust background in Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, or Platform Security.

• Proficiency in translating security objectives into clear roadmaps, priorities, ownership models, and measurable results.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in coaching, delegation, providing feedback, and team development.

• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive transformation across cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in English.

• Upper-Intermediate or higher proficiency in Russian.

• Experience securing infrastructure in high-risk or regulated sectors such as iGaming, Crypto, FinTech, or similar fields.

• Proven experience in evolving a security function from reactive measures to a structured, scalable security program.

• Experience leading distributed or fully remote technical teams.

• Practical experience with Zero Trust models, secure remote access, AWS, OCI, and Google Workspace Security.

• Familiarity with digital asset or cryptocurrency infrastructure security.
