Infrastructure Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee project timelines and serve as a technical consultant for the design, deployment, and migration of systems within IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.

• Guide projects through all stages of the system development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.

• Function as Scrum Master, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and backlog refinement.

• Drive the advancement of the IT technology portfolio and manage a cloud infrastructure capacity strategy.

• Deliver technical reports and recommendations to executive leadership.

• Evaluate business requirements to suggest and enforce policy modifications, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Oversee the procurement of products and services while managing vendor agreements.

• Implement and integrate enterprise networking, firewalls, servers, and enhance cloud configurations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible project management experience overseeing large-scale enterprise information technology (IT) projects.

• At least three (3) years of experience leading the design, construction, and operation of highly consistent and scalable infrastructure on major platforms, with a strong preference for AWS.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience showcasing a comprehensive technical knowledge of extended networking domains, virtualization, and hybrid cloud integrations.

• At least three (3) years of experience managing deployment, runtime, load balancing, autoscaling, and system performance optimization.

• A minimum of three (3) years of project management experience supporting initiatives involving cross-functional stakeholder groups in both business and IT.

• At least three (3) years of experience with information and application security principles, which include public key encryption, remote access, access credentials, and certificate-based authentication.

• Must hold a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
