Infrastructure Manager – Cloud, FinOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance operational expenses associated with cloud and technology services, ensuring that spending aligns with both budgetary constraints and forecasts.

• Gather, analyze, and interpret financial information to deliver insights that facilitate strategic decision-making.

• Create and uphold comprehensive financial reports concerning operational costs, technology investments, and return on investment (ROI), directly supporting the finance team.

• Engage in budget preparation and monitoring, aiding in the forecasting and management of future expenditures.

• Ensure adherence to financial and operational practices in accordance with company policies and external regulations.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance financial processes and practices, implementing solutions aimed at increasing efficiency and lowering costs.

• Develop processes and tools that encourage observability best practices, guided by SRE standards, for engineering teams—promoting autonomy, resilience, security, and operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Postgraduate studies or FinOps certifications are advantageous.

• Proven experience in managing infrastructure and FinOps teams or similar roles, ideally within technology or cloud environments.

• Technical expertise in infrastructure and DevOps, along with financial and cloud cost analysis (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Google Cloud Billing).

• Capacity to analyze complex data sets and offer actionable recommendations.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the skill to effectively engage with cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in managing various tasks and deadlines with a keen attention to detail.
