Infrastructure Engineer – Mainframe Security Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Designing and implementing technical infrastructures for departmental applications and services.

• Ensuring the availability, management, and deployment of technology infrastructure.

• Reviewing deployment documentation for all infrastructure components related to applications and development.

• Providing a foundational build for the development environment of the system.

• Overseeing all updates to the departmental infrastructure during the system migration phase.

• Developing technical test plans and documenting results for the infrastructure components.

• Participating in the on-call rotation and supporting changes outside of regular hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• A solid understanding of the Mainframe stack, including RACF, ICSF, Mainframe hardware and applications, JCL, REXX, and zSecure.

• A comprehensive understanding of Cryptography and Digital Certificates.

• Proficient user of ServiceNow.

• Familiarity with the roadmap relevant to your area of expertise.

• A clear grasp of infrastructure layers or stacks, with extensive knowledge across various platforms, such as mainframe, middleware, and network, or specific specialization.

• Understanding of Security Best Practices, including DORA, PCI DSS, and NIST.

• Ability to collaborate with design authorities to implement cost-effective and resilient solutions.

• Experience in contributing to roadmaps and strategies while working closely with third parties, ensuring quality outcomes and monitoring performance.

• Commitment to Continuous Improvement, driving AI and Automation using GIT, Ansible, and YAML.
