Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Join our infrastructure team and immerse yourself in a dynamic startup atmosphere.

• Your main objective will be to achieve an optimal balance between swift delivery, exceptional reliability, and strong security measures.

• You will be responsible for securing, scaling, and overseeing the essential infrastructure that supports our product.

• Work closely with our product team and collaborate across the organization on initiatives related to products, operations, and customer-facing projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in production environments with Kubernetes: Building and managing containerized applications at scale.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Utilizing Terraform, Helm charts, bash scripting, and Python to automate processes.

• Expertise in Scale & Site Reliability: Operating, monitoring, and scaling large-scale applications, particularly in ML/AI, within AWS and/or GCP.

• Development Skills: Strong knowledge of Node.js and Python, with the capability to collaborate with full-stack developers on designing and operating SaaS applications.

• ML/Big Data Ops: Practical experience with the infrastructure necessary for large-scale machine learning (GPUs, Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• CI/CD Automation: Familiarity with tools like GitHub Actions or Spacelift for efficient code building and deployment.

• Awareness of Pragmatic Security: Understanding of security best practices for cloud operations and their application in startup settings.

• AI-Native Engineering: Utilizing LLMs and AI tools to enhance the development lifecycle—from coding and refactoring to identifying security vulnerabilities and optimizing infrastructure costs.
