Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients in a stimulating and essential LAN/WAN environment.

• Provide technical services within a fast-paced ITIL framework while integrating Agile change delivery methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with Windows Server infrastructure at the enterprise level.

• Proven experience with RedHat Linux OS infrastructure along with general Linux support capabilities.

• Skilled in managing and maintaining VMware-based virtualized environments.

• Experience in deploying and supporting Hyper Converged Infrastructure.

• Proficient in managing and troubleshooting storage technologies such as NetApp and Dell.

• Experience in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory in an on-premises setting.

• Development of a customized desktop build that includes various bespoke and legacy applications.

• Experience in packaging and deploying applications.

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Exchange management and support from 2013 onwards.

• Familiarity with MS SQL Server and SQL Database Clustering.

• Experience with Veeam Backup technology.

• Skilled in implementing Ivanti Device & Application Control.

• Knowledge in patch management, including analysis and deployment.

• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

• Experience in ITIL ICT service delivery and SAFE Agile management of critical infrastructure.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

• Understanding of the significance of stakeholder management and organizational insight.

• Demonstrated adaptability to new technologies and quick learning ability.

• Previous experience in a business or safety-critical environment.

• Exposure to or experience with F5 Load Balancing technology.

• Experience in building, testing, and ongoing management of a VDI solution using VMware Horizon.
