Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy technology platforms and solutions that support IT infrastructure.

• Collaborate on best practices, standards, and procedures for system and solution design and management.

• Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the systems and data in support.

• Implement enhancements to uphold a strong security posture.

• Create and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies.

• Take part in the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and protocols.

• Diagnose and resolve issues and outages.

• Conduct problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses.

• Promote process enhancements to avert issue recurrence.

• Document solution designs, operational procedures, troubleshooting steps, and technology platforms.

• Develop training materials and facilitate training sessions for stakeholders.

• Engage in server and environment audits to ensure compliance.

• Serve as an escalation point for systems and user requests and issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator with practical experience in public cloud solutions, virtualization technologies, and server operating systems.

• Familiarity with Citrix, NetApp, and Linux.

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows or MacOS, along with Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong understanding of systems administration and Microsoft Windows network environments.

• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.

• Ability to interact with others discreetly and tactfully.

• Strong customer service focus and robust interpersonal skills.

• Effective data gathering, interviewing, and analytical problem-solving abilities.

• High attention to detail.

• Experience in conducting root-cause and post-mortem analyses.

• Background in designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.

• Experience in testing and executing disaster recovery plans and procedures.

• Proficient in documenting system designs, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

• Experience in creating training materials and leading training sessions for diverse stakeholder groups.

• Experience participating in server environment audits.

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions on infrastructure best practices, standards, and processes.

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to competently fulfill the primary responsibilities of the role.
