This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Design, develop, and manage the cloud infrastructure, databases, and core systems utilized by engineering teams.

• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and various stakeholders to convert their requirements into dependable platform functionalities.

• Take ownership of and enhance our cloud infrastructure, databases, and observability systems.

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve production issues related to infrastructure, scalability, and reliability.

• Work together on cross-functional initiatives that integrate the complete Flex experience, from consumer checkout to merchant analytics.

• Develop and sustain documentation for infrastructure, platform services, and on-call runbooks.

• Foster a culture of learning, problem-solving, and operational excellence.

• Over 5 years of experience in building and managing production infrastructure at scale.

• Practical experience with AWS, database management and optimization (Postgres or similar), and infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar).

• Resourceful, inquisitive, and adept at quickly learning new tools.

• Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic settings and enjoys taking on various roles.

• Enjoys collaboration and teamwork to tackle challenges.

• Maintains an execution-focused mindset and consistently considers the end user.

• Skilled in utilizing AI tools to expedite delivery.

• Preferable: Experience in operating Rust services in production.

• Experience in payments, fintech, or health benefits (HSA/FSA), or another regulated financial domain is a plus.
